Carcosa Seri Negara

This place would be a HISTORY if none of us care about it. The last time I heard that in year 2010, government will take over this place and demolish it. Probably there will be new development will be done here but all the English Style resident here will no longer been seen.
On another hand, one of my visitor here mentioned that the Colonial Mansion will not be demolished, it will remain as it is. So, let's wait and see. Picture shows one of the interior in the Carcosa.

Nice one....
Emmm... what a shame, others would spend tons of monies to preserve such historical "colonial" building as a monument but most others easily demolish to make way for nothing more than filling up their pocket.... huhuhu.....
Dear All,
Carcosa Seri Negara is owned by the Government of Malaysia.
Currently it re-opend its doors until June. The historical mansions will definitely not be demolished, no matter what!
I went there last weekend for tea and it was not only wonderful but also sold out. They have a new tea beside the traditional one. A Malay version. Very nice.
So no worries. I heard from a very good source it remains the way it is.
